There are nine beautiful beaches in the Island of Tinos, distributed equally between the eastern coast, the western coast and the southern coast.

Panormos Village on the north is about 25.1 kilometres from Tinos (Hora) and it takes 37 minutes drive. This is not a village by the seaside. So, there is no beaches here.

The name in some sources might be confusing it with Panormou just near it at the eastern coast. I need some Greeks here to clarify this point.

North of it, about 4.8 kilometres is Marlas known for its green marble that once exported.

The beautiful Ormos Panormou Beach is on Panormou Bay at the northeast of the Island of Tinos.

It is 3 kilometres from Panormos Village and it takes 4 minutes drive from there. It is 32.9 kilometres from Tinos and it takes 47 minutes drive.

Down near it is the beautiful Vathy Beach. The third beautiful beach on the eastern coast is Kolympithra Beach on the Bay of Kolympithra. Kolympithra is about 14.6 kilometres northeast of Tinos Town and it takes 22 minutes drive.

One of the beautiful beaches in the south facing the Greek Mykonos Island is the beach in Porto. This area is about 6.4 kilometres far from the Town of Tinos (Hora) and it takes 11 minutes drive.

One of the other beautiful sights in Tinos is the beautiful Pahia Ammos Beach, one kilometre far from the first beach in Porto. Porto Tango Hotel is on this distance on the other side of the bay. The Strand Aghios Ioannis is on the first side of the bay when driving from Tinos.

The third beach in the southern coast is the beautiful Agios Fokas Beach on a distance about 2.4 kilometres from Tinos and it takes 4 minutes drive. It is on Iroon Polytechnelou road that runs from Tinos to Porto.

Kionia Village is one the beautiful sights in Tinos, about 3.4 kilometres at the northwest of Hora and it takes 5-6 minutes drive on the Leoforos Stavrou Kionion road.

There are several beautiful beaches here, where the remains of the Sanctuary of Poseidon and Amphitrite from the 4th century BC occupy part of the large beach on the area.

North of this beach is the Ormos Kardianis Beach the third beautiful beach on the western coast.

It is about 18.2 kilometres from Tinos and it takes 27 minutes drive. It is near Kardiani Village on about 5.3 kilometres and it takes 9 minutes drive.

Pyrgos or Pirgos Village on the Tinou-Panormou road between Panormos and Ormos Panormou is one the beautiful sights in Tinos, with its marble carved cemetery and marble laid street surfaces.

It is about 26.8 kilometres from Tinos and it takes 39 minutes drive. Pyrgos is known in the 19th and the 20th centuries for its sculpture traditions and architecture.

The Museum House of Yannoulis Halepas is in this village. Yannoulis was one of the important Greek Sculptors.

The other museums and art galleries include the Cultural Foundation of Tinos, the Archaeological Museum of Tinos and the Museum of Panagia Evangelistria Cathedral.

The Archaeological Museum of Tinos, which is a small museum ahead of Virgin Mary Church on the main street to the port that exhibits samples of sculptures made by the Greek sculptors and some finds of temples.

One the beautiful sights in Tinos is Panagia Evangelistria in the area of the old village of Xinara on the hillside of Exombourgo Mountain. It is 5.4 kilometres from Tinos and it takes 10 minutes drive.
