The beautiful Beach of Antisamos is one of the beautiful Cephalonia beaches. It is below Cape Dihalia in Sami, the seat of the Municipality of Sami on the central eastern coast of Cephalonia. See the Municipalities of Kefalonia.

There are some caves in this area and along the coast to the north. The beach of Antisamos is 4.5 kilometres away from the centre of the town. Melissani Cave near it, is 2.7 kilometres from Sami and beyond the village of Karavomylos. Drogarati Cave is about 4 kilometres from Sami and it hosts occasional night musical concerts.

Antisamos Beach is curved between green heights on the sides covered by trees. The Blue Flag Beach of Antisamos is a long white pebble beach with some umbrellas and sun beds on the beach.

The crystal and shallow waters with the green heights make it beautiful and family friendly beach ideal for children.

People enjoy some waters ports, paddling, yachting and hiking on the heights beside the beach of Antisamos. There are few tavernas and few monuments-like structures on the high land at the back of the beach and the Kastro has a breathtaking views.

If you continued by small boats towards the north, you will reach the beaches and coves of Agia Effimia about 11 kilometres from Sami. Most of them, including Agia Paraskevi Caves are pleasant secluded coves.

Continuing to the north takes you to the beaches of Kaminia and Foki at the top north of the island and below Fiskardo. The beautiful Beach of Kaminia or Mounda Beach is one of the beautiful Cephalonia beaches. It is on the Bay of Mounda at the coastline of the Village of Ratzakli on southern Cephalonia Island.

The beach is at the south of Fiskardo and Foki Beach. It is a huge sandy beach that stretches to Cape Mounda. There is a cove on this beach and it lies east of Kato Katelios beach below the village of Ratzakli.

The beautiful Beach of Foki is one of the beautiful Cephalonia beaches and is just few hundreds metres from Kaminia Beach at the south.

The beach is in Foki Bay in an area covered by olive and cypress trees, giving it a natural beauty. There are many caves in this area and only one small-secluded beach.

Foki Beach has crystal waters and only one tavern. It is about 2.7 kilometres south of Fiskardo in the Municipality of Erissos at the top northern part of Cephalonia Island and it takes about 4 minutes drive.

Turning around the peninsula from the northern tip of Cephalonia Island to the western coast takes you to other beaches on the northwestern coast. This is of course not the way or the road to take towards those beaches in Cephalonia.

The directions between the villages of Cephalonia are on beautiful elio-proni villages, beautiful kefallonia towns, beautiful kefalonia towns, beautiful kefalonia villages, beautiful Livathos villages and the municipalities of Kefalonia.

Turning this way leads you to the beautiful resort of Assos and the beach of Myrtos.

The beautiful Resort of Assos is in the beautiful Village of Assos on the northwestern coast of Erissos Municipality in Cephalonia Island.

The earthquake destroyed parts of the town in 1953 and the City of Paris made donations to restore the buildings and the infrastructure of the town.

The renovated properties keep it as a traditional Greek village. The pastel and whitewashed houses cover some parts of the isthmus of the peninsula and there is a 16th century Venetian castle in this place.

There are more than 100 inhabitants in the beautiful village of Assos. There is a beach few kilometres south of the Town of Assos and some coves between the tall limestone cliffs.

The beautiful resort of Assos is about 10.9 kilometres southwest of Vassilikiades, the seat of Erissos Municipality and it takes about 15 minutes drive by car. It is about 36.2 kilometres away from Argostoli at the south and it takes about 48 minutes drive.

The distance between Assos and the next beach of Atheras in Paliki Peninsula is about 36.5 kilometres and it takes about 39 minutes drive. However, it is accessible from the seat of Paliki.
