The beautiful Beach of Petani is one of the beautiful Lixourian beaches in Kefalonia Island. It is a remote beach on the central western coast of Lixouri Municipality or as also called Paliki or Lixouri Peninsula down the village of Vilatoria.

It is favourite beach to considerable numbers of tourists, although it is a remote beach in the Peninsula of Paliki. They cross to it from Lixouri on the most fertile land in Cephalonia, where the land is green and covered by olive groves.

Petani Beach is a long round and white pebble beach with turquoise water and it has a cove. There are sun lounges, umbrellas and some tavernas on the beach.

The beach between and under the heights has rocks on the left side of it on the shore and a rock on the sea and there are some sun beds between the rocks, as well as other sun beds and umbrellas at the right side of the beach.

The beautiful Beach of Kounopetra is one of the beautiful Lixourian beaches in Kefalonia Island. It is at the south of Lixouri Peninsula near the Beach of Xi and the Beach of Agios Nikolaos or Megas Lakos Beach at the east of it.

Kounopetra Beach lies down at the southwest of the village of Mantzavinata and the district of Katogi; known for its community and valley. The beach is one of three beaches in the southern coast of Paliki. Kounopetra has small harbour.

The beach here on the Cape of Kounopetra or Cape Akrotiri is about 4.2 kilometres away from the village of Mantzavinata and it takes about 5 minutes drive. It is about 9.1 kilometres from Lixouri and it takes about 12 minutes drive through the villages of Soulari and Mantzavinata.

The beautiful Beach of XI is one of the beautiful Lixourian beaches in Kefalonia Island. It is about 2 kilometres east of Kounopetra Beach.

There are many styled coloured umbrellas and sun beds offered on the beach, a tavern and some rooms near the area of the beach. People enjoy some water sports on Xi Beach.

Xi Beach is a very long beach with red sand and white cliffs at the side of the beach. The beach is about 8.2 kilometres from Lixouri and it takes about 12 minutes drive. The nearest village to Xi is Mantzavinata in about 3.3 kilometres away and it takes about 5 minutes drive.

The beautiful Beach of Megas Lakos is one of the beautiful Lixourian beaches in Kefalonia Island. It is a golden sand beach with shallow clean water at the east of Xi Beach on the southern coast of the Peninsula of Lixouri.

Megas Lakkos is few kilometres east of XI Beach and is about 4 kilometres from Mantzavinata and it takes about 7 minutes drive. Lixouri at the north of the beach is about 5.9 kilometres and it takes about 11 minutes drive.

The beautiful Beach of Lepada in the coastline of Lixouri Town, the seat of the Municipality of Paliki is one of the beautiful Lixourian beaches in Kefalonia Island. It is a golden sandy beach about 1.6 kilometres at the south of the Town of Lixouri.

Lepada Beach is one of six beaches in the Peninsula of Paliki. See Municipalities of Kefalonia. The sandy beach is on the southeastern coast of the peninsula and parallel through the gulf to Argostoli at the east. Excursions, yachting and sea sport activities run on the beach in the hot season.
